Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Heard: Restaurant Prep List ("Heard," "the App"). By using the App, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the App

Heard is a kitchen management tool for creating and tracking daily prep and cleaning lists. You may use the App for personal or professional kitchen management purposes.

2. Accounts

You may create an account using your email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You may also use the App in guest mode without creating an account.

3. Subscriptions

Free Tier: Core prep and cleaning list management is available at no cost.

Pro Subscription: Additional features including AI list scanning, voice input, advanced exports, and gamification are available through a paid subscription.

  • Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase

  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your device's Settings under Subscriptions

  • No refunds are provided for partial subscription periods

4. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the App, including prep lists, employee rosters, and completion records. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to store and process this content as necessary to provide the service.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any unlawful purpose

  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems

  • Reverse engineer or decompile the App

  • Use automated tools to access the App

6. AI Features

AI-powered features (list scanning, voice input) use third-party services to process your content. Results may not always be accurate. You are responsible for reviewing and confirming any AI-extracted data before saving it.

7. Availability

We strive to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

8. Limitation of Liability

Heard is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to data loss, business interruption, or inaccurate AI results.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the App if you violate these Terms. You may stop using the App and delete your account at any time.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
